Arsenal are looking to sign Santos striker, Gabriel Barbosa before the transfer window slams shut.
The Brazilian has been dubbed as the new Neymar and has attracted a lot of interest from Europe.
Affectionately known as Gabigol, the 18 year old Brazilian is one of the most talented young forwards in South America. It is believed that the striker was close to a Turkey move, but decided to turn it down.
Arsene Wenger is now keen to sign the Santos striker to solve his goalscoring problems.
Wenger knows the importance of signing a striker this summer and after missing out on the likes of Benzema and Cavani, the Frenchman is now keen to sign one of the brightest young prospects in world football.
It will be interesting to see if Arsenal can sign a forward before the window slams shut. Furthermore, it will also be tough to get a work permit considering the fact that Gabigol has no considerable reputation/performances with the national team.
In summation, it seems like a lazy effort to link Arsenal with a talented young striker, who is likely to stay at Santos come Tuesday.
