It seems like PSG are left with no options rather to sell their sensational young midfielder Adrien Rabiot. The 19-year-old has set his heart elsewhere and doesn’t want to play for PSG anymore.
He has one year left on his contract and is not willing to sign any new deal. Yesterday L’Equipe reported that his body language in training was awful and even refused to train giving a fake excuses of injury.
Crux of the matter: he doesn’t want to stay at PSG. The club already has an avalanche of star midfielders but following the purchase of Yohan Cabaye last season (making his chances regularly for the club more difficult) his relation with Laurent Blanc had worsened.
All he needs now is regular games under his belt and precisely for that reason mainly he is keen to leave Paris. He has lots of option to chose from but it seems like Arsenal could be his possible destination.
According to reports from Le 10 Sport, the player’s mother who is his agent as well is expected to be in London today to hold talks with Arsenal.
Sky Italia understand that PSG are expecting Arsenal to make an offer of around €15m, which is still €10m short of PSG’s valuation.
However, with the player setting his heart to leave and keeping his contract situation in mind, PSG may be forced to accept Arsenal’s terms and conditions. Juventus are also thought to be interested in signing him.
