PSG youngster Adrien Rabiot is one of the hottest youngsters in World Football. The Frenchman has been linked with a move away from the Paris side for quite some time now with Arsenal heavily linked to be his likely destination. We had reported in the summer that Rabiot’s mother, who is also his agent, was due to meet Arsenal officials over a possible move.
However, according to Matt Spiro who is a France based football writer and commentator for BeIN Sports has tweeted (citing Gazzetta Dello Sport) that Rabiot is set to join Arsenal’s fierce rivals Tottenham in January for a six month loan deal.
#PSG‘s Rabiot set to join #THFC on 6-month loan w/o option to buy (Gazzetta). Lots of competition for places, but I’d expect him to do well

PSG however won’t include an option to buy at the end of the summer.
Telling that #PSG seemingly wont include option to buy. Rabiot may yet have future in Paris if Blanc (who’s fed up with him) gets boot #THFC

In Decemeber too we had reported that Spurs were close to sign the player. However there have been no official confirmations.
Jonathan Johnson who is also a reputed journalist has some updates.
Regarding Rabiot, Spurs loan has been mooted for some time now. However, I see little point in the move for any of the concerned parties.

Guaranteed game time is unlikely for Rabiot. Spurs are already well stocked in midfield & PSG weaken squad (particularly in UCL).
