Several Premier League heavy weights like Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United are showing keen interest in Brazilian midfielder Luiz Gustavo, according to reports.

The 26-year-old defensive midfielder is enjoying a good World Cup campaign with Brazil so far, where his tidy display in the middle of the park has earned rave reviews among the journalists.

Gustavo joined Wolfsburg last season from German champions Bayern Munich on a long term contract. According to the reliable Gianluca di Marzio, several top clubs like Inter Milan, Monaco, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United have shown interest in him, but the Bundesliga outfit are not looking to sell their prized asset at the moment. He has a contract till 2018, with a release clause of €33m.

Manchester United will be looking to add quality defensive midfielders to their ranks this summer while Chelsea and Arsenal may look to bring one or two new faces in the midfield as well.

Gustavo would fit in nicely in any of the top Premier League clubs, but hard to see Chelsea, United or Arsenal paying such a high price to acquire his services.
