Arsenal have made a strong statement of intent this summer by capturing Barcelona winger Alexis Sanchez. After signing a world class player, Arsene Wenger has now shifted his attention towards bolstering other areas of the pitch, especially the goal keeping department.
Reports emerged last week that Arsenal are showing a keen interest in Colombian goal keeper David Ospina and are closing in on securing a £3.2m deal for the Nice goalkeeper. Ospina was one of the star performers for Colombia in the recently concluded 2014 FIFA World Cup and would be a good addition to the Gunners team.
According to reports from NiceMatin, OGC Nice have agreed a deal with Arsenal to sign David Ospina. The report say the Colombian goal keeper is set to complete a €4m move in the coming hours/which we interpret as near future, where he is set to compete with first choice Wojciech Szczesny.
The 25-year-old has been playing for Nice since 2008 and has made over 175 appearances for the French club.
