Alexandre Lacazette has been in stunning form this season having scored 31 goals for Lyon, helping his side qualify for the Champions League for the coming campaign. The 23-year-old was also crowned the Ligue 1 Player of the Year on Sunday, pipping PSG’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic to the prize.

The French striker’s stunning exploits has naturally attracted envious glances from a host of clubs from England including Arsenal and Liverpool. Should an offer come for the player, he could thus leave the French club.

The Mirror have quoted the player saying, “I don’t know,” when asked if he would still be at Lyon next season. Lacazatte added, “That is a question that will be asked at the end of the season. I am very proud, it is a boyhood dream come true to win the trophy for the best player.”

Both Arsenal and Liverpool will be in the transfer market for a striker and Lacazette would tick all boxes for the sides. However, the Gunners could entice the player to move to Emirates thanks to the lure of Champions League football.
