The French leftback, Eric Abidal, received medical clearance from team doctors and he will be made available in time for the much anticipated Champions League fixture against Arsenal.
This is great news for Barcelona, as they have been without the services of Abidal since going down against Espanyol back in February. Pep Guardiola will have a much strengthened defense as the Spaniard Gerard Pique will also be returning after being absent in the past two games with a sore knee.
Over in England, there is no confirmation on the availability of Cesc Fabregas for Arsenal after he suffered a knee injury over the weekend. Chances of his name in the line-up look slim.
