Manchester United are looking to sign a striker this summer and the Old Trafford outfit are eyeing up a move for the Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The Gabon international has been in sensational form this season for the German giants and has attracted interest from several Premier League clubs including Arsenal and Chelsea. He was linked with a move to Real Madrid earlier this month.
According to recent reports from the English media, Manchester United have had a secret meeting with Aubameyang’s representatives ahead of a £60m move this summer.
Louis Van Gaal’s side have struggled without a recognised striker this season and adding someone like Aubameyang could make a world of difference to them. Wayne Rooney started the season poorly and got injured after finding some form.
Anthony Martial is still very young and despite his phenomenal talent, he is still adapting to life in England.
Manchester United have had to rely on their youth strikers so far this season and they will want to make amends this summer.
Aubameyang has scored 35 goals already this season and is arguably one of the top three strikers in world football right now, alongside Suarez and Lewandowski.
The 26-year-old would be a world class addition to any Premier League side and it will be interesting to see if Manchester United can convince him to join this summer.
Earlier this year, there were reports that Aubameyang wants to join Manchester United and not Arsenal.
