Manchester United agree five year deal with Jose Mourinho

According to reports the former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has agreed a 5 year deal with Premier League giants Manchester United.

The Portuguese manager has been sacked from his post at Chelsea due to a poor start to the season and is now being linked with an immediate return to management.

Spanish media outlet Fichajes have claimed that Mourinho to Manchester United is not yet official but the Portuguese has an agreement with the Red Devils.

Fichajes have said that journalists and media personnel close to the Portuguese manager has confirmed his agreement with Manchester United.

Furthermore, they have also stated that the agreement could be made official today.

Earlier it has been reported in the English media that Mourinho is a target for Manchester United who will consider sacking Louis Van Gaal if the poor results continue.

Getting someone like Mourinho would be a huge coup for any club. Furthermore, the Portuguese manager has always been a keen admirer of United’s stature and considers it as a prestige job.

Mourinho was one of the candidates shortlisted to take over from Sir Alex Ferguson when the legendary manager retired. It seems Jose Mourinho might just get his wish this season.

Mourinho won the Premier League with Chelsea last season and could be the man to take Manchester United back to their former glories.

The Old Trafford outfit are struggling at the moment and Mourinho could provide much needed confidence and belief for them to challenge for the title.

It will be interesting to see how the United fans react to the appointment of the outspoken Mourinho when and if the deal is made official.
