According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, Juventus have decided to knock back every offer for their prized asset, Paul Pogba, this summer. The Italians are unwilling to sanction a transfer, even for an astronomical fee of €150m.
Earlier it was reported that Chelsea can find an agreement if they agree to use Oscar in the Pogba transfer. However, at this point in the window, with little time to sign replacements, Juventus have decided to walk away.
According to Italian media, Mourinho is obsessed with Paul Pogba and is determined to sign him this summer. It is believed that the Chelsea manager is willing to offer more than 100 million euros.
Chelsea have made a dismal start to their season and are desperate for signings. The Premier League champions have looked helpless in the midfield and Jose is keen to plug the gaps.
With just two days remaining in the transfer window, Jose Mourinho wants to go all out for Paul Pogba. However, the former Manchester United man has not forced a move, or expressed his desire to join the Londoners.
Juventus are under no pressure to sell and are prepared to walk away from a world record bid if that is what it comes down to.
The Italians have lost out on Julian Draxler this afternoon, after the Schalke star opted to stay in Germany and sign for Wolfsburg. Juventus will now turn their attentions towards Axel Witsel.
It will be interesting to see how Chelsea react to this and if Mourinho can pull off a marquee signing before Tuesday.
