The Argentine Football Association is set to use an ‘aerosol spray’ to mark a temporary 10-yard line away from free kicks to prevent defenders from encroaching upon the free kick taker.
What would really make this interesting is if they used sleeping gas (in very minute quantities) in the white mist, so that any player who ‘broke’ the line would suffer from decreased performances during the match.
Of course, holding your breath should save you (and closing your eyes will prevent them from being stung), so really it all comes back down to the referees and whether they have the testicular fortitude to book the cheating gits.
