Brazilian midfielder Ramires is all set to leave Chelsea in the January transfer window.
According to reports from ESPN Brazil, the 28-year-old midfielder is close to joining Chinese club Jiangsu Suning FC.
Ramires joined Chelsea from Benfica in 2010 and has made over 240 appearances for the London club. He has also scored 37 goals for the Blues.
He signed a long term contract at Chelsea in October last year, but it seems he is all set for a £25m switch to the Chinese club, after managing only nine league games for the Blues this season.
According to reports from the Daily Mail, Ramires had attracted interest from heavyweight European clubs like Bayern Munich and PSG but the Chinese outfit appear to have won the race.
Reputed Sky Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio claims that the deal is as good as done. The midfielder will join today and meet the squad at Malaga, where Jiangsu are holding a pre-season camp.
