Arsenal’s 4-1 win over struggling Sunderland at the Emirates on Saturday kept the Gunners within touching distance of Premier League leaders Chelsea, with Tomas Rosicky’s fine effort the pick of the goals.
The Czech captain finished off a stunning flowing move to put Arsene Wenger’s side three to the good before half time, and some have said it is the best team goal the Premier League has seen this season.
But it is not the first time Arsenal have conjured up a goal of this intricacy, with Jack Wilshere’s gorgeous effort against Norwich back in October matching Rosicky’s goal for skill and guile.
But which is the better effort?
1. Tomas Rosicky vs Sunderland, 22/02/14
2. Jack Wilshere vs Norwich, 19/10/13
Olivier Giroud provided the cutest of direct assists for both of the goals, with the French forward showing off his superb link-up ability in style.
