The new four-year-agreement sees the DHL logo included on the Club’s training kit worn by all first, reserve and youth team players during domestic competitions and builds on DHL’s relationship behind the scenes at the club, who have been Manchester United sponsors for over an year and were the official sponsors for United’s pre-season tour of the United States this summer..
DHL’s sponsorship of the Manchester United training kit is valued at £40m, whereas United’s pre-existing kit sponsorship deal with Aon sits at £80m over four years. When that (Aon) deal is renewed / replaced, expect it to be more than £25m / year.
In addition, the club also announced a three-year partnership with Vietnam’s leading mobile telecommunications company, Beeline, to distribute United content in Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos. It is estimated United have 16 million supporters in Vietnam alone.
