Playing 49 lesser games than Spanish legend of the 1980s, Migueli, Xavi equaled his record for most league wins. Migueli had 195 league wins in 391 matches played whereas Xavi has 195 in 342 matches. This came as Lionel Messi scored a brilliant hat-trick against Valencia to give Barcelona the three points.
Guillermo Amor is behind Migueli now, with 190 victories in 311 matches. Followed by current Barca captain, Carlos Puyol, who is at 185 victories in 320 matches. Xavi now sits on 57% winning rate but it is Guillermo who has the best winning rate of 61%.
Xavi is the most used player in the Guardiola’s team in the 2009/2010 season. He has played in 25 of the 26 matches, accumulated 2,123 minutes and only missed the game against Racing Santander in the Camp Nou. Only goalkeeper Victor Valdes has 100% league record.
