Arsenal’s 3-1 win at Stoke City was overshadowed on Saturday, February 27, 2010 as Aaron Ramsey broke his leg due to a Ryan Shawcross tackle.
The Stoke City player received a red card and was visibly shaken up (in tears) as he had no malicious intent on the tackle. He was late and unfortunately Ramsey sustained a very tough injury. He was down for several minutes and eventually taken off in a stretcher. The injury could be career threatening and it’s not know how long Ramsey will be out. Video of the tackle is below
