Arsenal striker Yaya Sanogo is set to cut short his loan spell at Ajax and return to England.
According to Daily Mirror, the young Arsenal forward is close to joining the Championship outfit Charlton on loan for the rest of the season.
Arsenal have agreed to end his miserable spell in Holland and will send him out on loan again for a fresh challenge.
The Frenchman joined the Dutch outfit on loan at the start of the season but has failed to make an impact at Amsterdam. After having spent the first half of the season on loan at Ajax, he will now continue his progress with Charlton for the rest of this season.
The Championship club are fighting to avoid relegation this season and could definitely use a goalscorer. Furthermore, Sanogo will also get a chance to play regularly.
Coquelin came back as a much-improved player from his loan spell at Charlton despite not playing regularly and the Arsenal fans will be hoping that Sanogo can follow in his footsteps.
The 23-year-old striker has made just 5 appearances for Ajax this season and has failed to score a single goal for them.
