Danny Welbeck kept his composure to score Arsenal’s winner in the 2-1 win at Old Trafford to dump Manchester United, his former club, out of the FA Cup at the quarter final stage.
Welbeck was sold by United’s manager Louis van Gaal for £16m last summer after being told he was not good enough to play for the first team. On his first return to his boyhood club, Welbeck did the unthinkable – scored and dumped United out of the tournament. What a way to take your revenge!
We bring here wide range of tweets, enjoy!
No problem with Welbeck. Took his goal well. I clapped him off. He's more #MUFC than half our squad. How we'd love a player like him now.

Have not stopped swearing since the full time whistle. Welbeck has given me tourettes.

Watching the game again & realised that Danny Welbeck actually celebrates his goal. None of that ex-club 'nonsense'. Go on, son. Enjoy it.

Cleverley and Welbeck are going to Wembley. But not United.

Welbeck going nuts after scoring, then saying he's a United fan, and Mertesacker saying he's gutted in the dressing room.

Anyway, Wenger happy. Picked Welbeck centrally because he knew he had point to prove. Praised ref too. "It's not easy but he had good game."

Welbeck deserves to be knighted.

Booing Welbeck and whining about his celebration on here, equally embarrassing. Wasn't wanted, obvious point to prove, must have felt sweet.
