Luis Suarez back with his old tricks again. For a brief period of time, he was a reformed Luis Suarez, after returning back from a 10-match suspension. But, how long can you control your old habits?
Against Argentina, in the crucial World Cup Qualifiers, Suarez as usual stole the show with both heroism and controversy. He earned a penalty with a ridiculous dive in the box. He threw himself to the ground following a minimal contact against Sebastian Domínguez in the box.
The Refs quickly awarded the penalty and Suarez smartly slotted home. However, he bagged an assist in the end, by laying on the winner with a well-timed pass to Edinson Cavani.
Former Liverpool midfielder Maxi Rodriguez also notched couple of goals for the visitors. Despite the 3-2 impressive victory, Uruguay could only secure the 5th place in the CONMEBOL standings and will have to win the intercontinental play-off against Asian side Jordan to secure World Cup berth.
