After needing a penalty shootout to overcome Wigan Athletic in the semi finals of the FA Cup on Saturday, Arsenal now turn their focus in the Premier League as they play hosts to West Ham United at the Emirates on Tuesday night.
Recent form has seen The Gunners drop from the pole position in the table, now to compete against Everton for the final Champions league berth.
Arsene Wenger’s men are currently fifth in the standings, 13 points behind League leaders Liverpool. Everton have leapfrogged Arsenal by two points and Wenger’s side can ill afford to drop points in the business end of the campaign.
West Ham United would fancy themselves going to the Emirates knowing Arsenal will be tired after their arduous FA Cup semi final at Wembley. Sam Allardyce’s men come into this encounter on the back of a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Liverpool last week.
Possible Arsenal Starting Lineup:
Prediction: 2-1
Arsenal would be tired going into the clash but they possess enough quality to see out Allardyce’s men. The Hammers however have enough up top to hit the back of the net.
