Arsenal will take on Stoke City at the Emirates Stadium in the lunch time kick-off this Sunday looking to extend their winning run to seven games in a row.
Arsene Wenger is still missing the services of several key players for this tie like Santi Cazorla, but the Frenchman will be boosted by the return of midfielder Mikel Arteta, who could play for the first-time in the season.
Wenger will have to make a decision whether to include the Spaniard in the starting eleven straight away or bring him from the bench whenever necessary as Flamini has been pretty impressive since the Frenchman joined the club for the second time around.
Further, left-back Nacho Monreal is fit again, so Wenger might be tempted to give Gibbs a much needed rest while skipper Thomas Vermaelen could be recalled too. But, in all probability Wenger will not be tempted to disturb the central defensive duo of Mertesacker and Koscielny for this tie.
