Barcelona full back Aleix Vidal has been linked with a move away from Camp Nou this summer and recent reports are claiming that the former Sevilla player has been offered to Liverpool by his agent.
According to reports in Spain (via SportWitness), Jurgen Klopp is looking to sign a back up for Nathaniel Clyne and Vidal’s agent has offered him to the Premier League outfit.
However, Barcelona have no plans to sell him this summer and will ask Liverpool to pay his release clause if they want him. The player has a 60 million Euros release clause and it is highly unlikely that any club in the world would want to sign him for that price.
It seems like the player’s agent is trying to put pressure on Barcelona for not playing him regularly.
In other news, Liverpool are very close to sealing a move for the Polish midfielder Piotr Zielinski. The Udinese midfielder has been a target for the Reds and it seems that they are looking to seal the deal after a few days of reflection.
Initially it seemed like Liverpool would back out after making an offer, but now Italian media are convinced that a deal will be done soon.
Liverpool are also interested in the Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud.
The Serie A midfielder is also a target for Napoli and was suggested to Klopp by his assistant Zeljko Buvac.
