The two title challengers met on Sunday for the titanic clash at Anfield, which Chelsea won thanks to goals from Demba Ba and Willian.

While neither player makes the PFA cut, their teammates Petr Cech, Gary Cahill, and Eden Hazard make it into the side, with Liverpool strikers Daniel Sturridge and Luis Suarez joined by Reds skipper Steven Gerrard in the XI.

Manchester City duo Yaya Toure and Vincent Kompany ease in next to Gerrard and Cahill respectively, with impressive Southampton pair Adam Lallana and Luke Shaw making he grade.

Everton’s goalscoring right-back Seamus Coleman completes the formidable lineup, with both Manchester United and Arsenal notably absent from proceedings.

While the United faithful cannot have too many complaints following what has been a truly horrendous first season without Sir Alex Ferguson, Arsenal may feel aggrieved, considering their long stint as Premier League leaders, with Laurent Koscielny particularly excellent at the back this season.
