Italian giants Juventus have entered the race to sign Fiorentina’s Dusan Vlahovic, according to reports.
Premier League giants Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur have also been credited with an interest in the talented forward.
But now they face competition as Juventus have also joined them in the race to sign the 21-year-old, according to Tuttosport.
The Serbian footballer has been an important figure for Fiorentina this season, starting all Serie A matches under Vincenzo Italiano.
He has clocked up 11 league matches so far, scoring eight goals and creating an assist in the process (stats from Transfermarkt).
The forward’s current contract at the Stadio Artemio Franchi is set to expire in 2023. And it is said that he is not interested to extend his stay at the Italian club.
Therefore, the Violets are said to be keen to sell the young player in the next transfer window.
Dusan Vlahovic is an academy graduate of Serbian side Partizan where he progressed through the youth ranks to earn his senior debut in February 2016.
He made 27 appearances across all competitions for Partizan, with three goals and an assist to his name.
His performances attracted the attention of Fiorentina who secured his services in 2018.
Vlahovic is a highly talented player who has shown great progress in the last couple of years.
He is only 21-years-old and so has years left ahead of him to further improve his game.
