Eden Hazard has had a poor 2015-16 campaign for Chelsea.
The Belgium international has failed to score a single goal in the Premier League, and has struggled badly for form and consistency.
It has been claimed in the media that the 25-year-old is unhappy at Chelsea, and could be looking for a move in the summer.
British media speculates that he could be off to Real Madrid next season. Zinedine Zidane, the new Real Madrid boss, is a keen admirer of his talent, and the La Liga giants might come up with a big offer for him.
Premier League rivals Manchester United are also thought to be interested in signing him, with reports emerging yesterday, the Red Devils are planning a £65m summer bid to prise him away from Stamford Bridge.
With all such rumours circling around in the media, Hazard’s father, Thierry, felt the time is right to let people know the truth behind. He has quashed all such rumours, claiming his son’s future lies with Chelsea only.
“Eden is at Chelsea and thinks only of Chelsea,” he told Sportwereld (h/t ESPN)
Chelsea are currently 14th in the Premier League, 13 POINTS behind Tottenham in fourth, but Hazard’s father says his son hasn’t given up on a top four finish.
Hazard is currently absent with a groin injury, and his father believes the current injury problem is down to playing too many games.
