Arsenal are looking to land at least one striker in the remaining hours of the January transfer window and may try their luck for Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata again.

The Gunners are heavily linked with a move for Schalke forward Julian Draxler, and according to The Mirror, the North London club are still in talks with the German club, but they are refusing in accept the £37m fee for the youngster.

With Theo Walcott, Aaron Ramsey and Jack Wilshere all injured at the moment, Arsene Wenger feels the need to land at least one quality player, albeit on loan.

We reported yesterday that the Gunners may make a move for Barcelona’s youngster Cristian Tello, but the Daily Mail reports that the Catalan giants are unlikely to let the youngster go out on loan for the rest of the season.

The Gunners also linked with a move for Juventus striker Mirko Vucinic, but the Montenegro striker has taken himself off the market and wants to stay in Italy.

Therefore, Wenger could make a last ditch attempt to sign Morata on loan today. The Spaniard was also linked with the Gunners early in this month, with reports even emerging that his agent was in London to hold talks for a potential loan move.

Should Arsenal go for Morata on the transfer deadline day?
