Arsenal target Adrien Rabiot is all set for a move away from Paris St Germain the upcoming January transfer window. The 19 year old is worried by the lack of game time on the pitch under Laurent Blanc and has repeatedly rejected contract extension at the Parc De Princes.

Emerging reports from Rome based Italian Media outlet Voce Giallorossa claim that Roma are preparing a €6m offer to sign the midfielder in January. The reports claims that despite the fact that Roma can sign the player on a free next summer, club chief Walter Sabatini wants to avoid the ‘Snatch the Jewel’ competition. PSG had earlier set a €15m price tag on the player.

But with potential suitors in a better position to dictate terms over the deal, Roma aren’t willing to match the asking price. With all the odds stacked against PSG, they can ill afford to lose the player on a free, when his contract expires. This would mean that they should be reluctant, but would be forced to sell at a much lower price in the winter transfer window.

Rabiot has been attracting attention from across Europe thanks to his fine performances but is unhappy with a bit part role currently. With the EURO 2016 on the horizon, the youngster would surely want to make a mark in the tournament in front of the home crowd.

We shall keep our readers updated on Rabiot’s transfer situation as developments are guaranteed to prosper in the following weeks. However, one thing is for certain, Roma currently head the queue to sign the player.
