Arsenal have agreed on a deal to recall the highly rated German winger Serge Gnabry from his loan spell at West Bromwich Albion due to the lack of first team action.
The Londoners exercised a recall option they had installed during the loan agreement and the player will now return to Emirates after a difficult spell at West Brom according to Telegraph.
Gnabry has only played 12 minutes of Premier League football under Tony Pulis and is expected to be sent out on loan against this month. The young winger joined West Brom on a season-long loan in August.
Several Championship clubs, including Brighton, are interested in the German winger.
Earlier this season, West Brom manager Tony Pulis claimed that Gnabry was not at the required level to play games and has rarely featured for the Baggies this season.
The young winger is regarded as one of Arsenal’s finest young talents and Wenger is keen to continue his development by providing him with regular competitive football. In these circumstances, a move to the Championship makes perfect sense for all parties involved.
