Arsenal are reportedly showing an interest in Inter Milan’s Marcelo Brozovic, and could make a bid in January to sign the Croatian midfielder.

The 23-year-old was linked with a move to Arsenal last season, but he chose to join Inter instead, and completed his loan move to the Italian club from Dinamo Zagreb last January.

He has settled quickly in Italy and has been in impressive form for the Serie A giants this season.

Arsenal have been keeping a track on his progress, and it seems the Gunners are highly impressed with his development. Roberto Mancini has praised him highly recently, saying he is “a complete midfielder, young but with great talent, he’ll become one of the best”.

Inter are looking to sign the Croatian permanently in the New Year for around £8m, but according to reports from Calciomercato, the Nerazzurri could sell him if the price is right.

Arsenal are reported to be leading the race once again, and the Gunners could make a bid around €20m for his signature, although Inter will be ready to do a business for anything between €16-17m in the January transfer window.

The Gunners, however, are not the only English club looking to sign Brozovic. London rivals Chelsea are reportedly showing an interest, which could lead to a fascinating transfer duel, should both of them move formally for the midfielder.
