Arsenal will take on fellow Premier League side Hull City tomorrow at Wembley in the 2014 FA Cup final, with both sides desperate for the coveted prize for vastly different reasons.
For the Gunners, victory tomorrow will bring to an end the almost decade-long absence of silverware, with the club’s last trophy coming in 2005, with Patrick Vieira’s spot-kick seeing off Manchester United in a dramatic FA Cup Final penalty shootout.
For Hull, Saturday will be the first time in their history that they have contested the final, and a first ever FA Cup would do wonders for the club as a brand, let alone the entry into European competition it would bring.
