Arsenal are in Group G of the Champions League, with Hamburg, Porto and CSKA Moscow. They kick off their Champions League campaign with an away game to Hamburd on 13th September.

Considering Arsenal’s current form, they will need to make amends quickly in the home game to Middlebrough before embarking on two tough away games – the Champions League group match against Hamburg on the 13th and the 6-pointer vs Manchester United at Old Trafford on the 17th.

At least Boro are themselves in awful form, and their 4-0 drubbing at home to Portsmouth will give Wenger the confidence that his side can improve before taking on Hamburg and United.

Do Arsenal have the squad strength to cope with the dual pressures of Champions League and the Premiership?
