Angel di Maria is facing an uncertain future at Real Madrid. The Argentine winger has a contract till 2018, but himself admitted during the World cup that he is unsure of what future holds for him in future.
Real Madrid are reportedly looking to make Colombian sensation James Rodriguez as their latest Galactico. However, he won’t be available for cheap and his price is bound to inflate, following his sensational World Cup campaign in Brazil.
The Los Blancos are looking to sell few top players in order to balance the book. According to El Confidencial today, Madrid are expecting to recoup €100m through sales of three players – Sami Khedira, Alvaro Morata and Angel di Maria.
The situation of Di Maria is bit complex. Madrid press believes that the Argentine is plotting a move to leave the club in summer, while reports emerged yesterday that Jorge Mendes is masterminding a move to take Di Maria to Manchester United. Madrid would settle for a fee in the region of €50m for the world class winger, but it remains to be seen how things shape up from here on.
Spanish newspaper Marca reports today that Manchester United are not the only Premier League club vying for his signature. Arsenal and Manchester City could also join the bidding party as well.
