I have to say I’m impressed with the hard work the new management at Sunderland is putting in the club. It shows in their transfer strategy, how they treat fans, in Roy Keane and now with their new kit.
The new Sunderland away kit (manufactured by Umbro) is all-white, replacing the blue away strip from last season and will be available in official club stores from Thursday, 28 June.
The shirt is mostly white without being plain (a lesson for Bolton), with red and black flashes at the shoulder. There’s also the traditional Sunderland AFC club crest and the Umbro logo (left and right, respectively), and plenty of space is given to the new club sponsor Boylesports’ logo (center).
The shorts are white with red and black flashes and the kit is completed with white socks bearing the Umbro logo in red.
Sunderland’s new home kit will be launched on Thursday July 26.
It’s a kit quite similar to that of Bolton’s, and Sunderland will have to wear their 3rd kit when they head to the Reebok.
