The Soccerex Football Festival is coming to the Etihad Stadium, Manchester on the weekend of 6-7 September.

With international football taking place that weekend and England not playing until Monday 8 September away in Switzerland, this is an opportunity to see football stars of yesteryear in action.

This will be the ninth edition of the tournament and the first held in Manchester. Previous hosts have been Dubai, Johannesburg and Rio de Janeiro.

The two-day event is free to attend and will host an extravaganza of football, entertainment, youth tournament, football legends, prize draws, football freestylers, competitions, activations and much more!

The 13 legends confirmed for this year’s event are as follows:

Faustino Asprilla (Parma, Newcastle United & Colombia)
Sean Dundee (Liverpool)
Bjarne Goldbæk (Chelsea, Fulham & Denmark)
Didi Hamann (Bayern Munich, Newcastle United, Liverpool, Manchester City, MK Dons & Germany)
Dean Holdsworth (Wimbledon & Bolton Wanderers)
Ulf Kirsten (Bayer 04 Leverkusen & Germany)
Lutz Pfannenstiel (the only player to have played on all six FIFA continents)
Terry Phelan (Manchester City, Chelsea, Everton & Republic of Ireland)
Bryan Robson (Manchester United, Middlesbrough & England)
Louis Saha (Newcastle United, Fulham, Manchester United, Everton, Tottenham Hotspur, Sunderland & France)
Stig Tøfting (Bolton Wanderers & Denmark)
