French club Olympique Marseille are interested in Leicester City flop Islam Slimani according to sources from Algeria.
The Ligue 1 club are looking to sign a new forward this summer and Slimani is one of the names whom they have under consideration.
The Algeria international joined the Foxes during the summer of 2016 from Sporting Lisbon for £28 million.
He was one of the investments that the Foxes made after they defied the odds to win the Premier League during the 2015-16 season.
However, he has failed to live up to expectations and has managed just 12 goals from 47 games across all competitions for the Foxes since he arrived at the club.
Slimani spent the second half of last season on loan with Newcastle United.
He also failed to impress with the Toon Army as he went on to make 4 appearances and did not manage to find the back of the net.
A move away from Leicester will be the best thing for both club and player.
