Glasgow Rangers goalkeeper Wes Foderingham is certain to leave the Ibrox club after being told he is now third choice keeper behind Allan McGregor and Jak Alnwick.
The 27-year-old still has two years on his present deal but he has slipped down the pecking order and could be set for a departure this summer.
He is not keen to fight for his place and would consider a move in the summer. He will have no shortage of offers though, with reports claiming that two Championship clubs are showing interest in him.
According to reports from the Scottish Daily Star (p47, 07/05/2018), Aston Villa and Ipswich Town are keen on signing the Gers goalkeeper.
He has made more than 100 appearances for Rangers, but new Gers manager Steven Gerrard is seemingly having his doubts.
Villa saw loanee Sam Johnstone head back to Manchester United and then join West Bromwich Albion permanently.
Steve Bruce will need a new goalkeeper this summer, but with the club struggling for money, Villa may need to offload some players before they can approach for the Rangers goalkeeper.
