Manchester United will entertain Aston Villa on Saturday lunch time at Old Trafford, looking to bounce back strongly in the league, after a disappointing 3-0 defeat at the hands of derby rivals Manchester City midweek.
United are already out of all domestic competitions this season, but the manner of their recent defeats has left the fans bitterly frustrated, putting further pressure on beleaguered manager David Moyes.
Team News
Skipper Nemanja Vidic should return to the starting line-up, after serving his two-game suspension following his sending off against Liverpool, and could partner Phil Jones at the heart of defence.
Tom Cleverley produced yet another listless performance midweek, and expect Moyes to drop him, with Darren Fletcher or Ryan Giggs potentially replacing him.
In the attacking department, young Adnan Januzaj could come back in, after missing out in recent weeks. Danny Welbeck should maintain his place in the side, while Wayne Rooney will start up front as a lone striker in absence of Dutch striker Robin van Persie, who remains out with a knee injury.
Prediction: 2-0; Man Utd have won 10 of their last 11 home matches against Aston Villa in all competitions, so expect a comfortable home win for the Red Devils.
