Manchester United finally avoided their poor run in 2014 and bounced back strongly with a thumping 2-0 victory over Swansea City in the Premier League at Old Trafford.
Antonio Valencia and Danny Welbeck scored for the Red Devils, as the home side, emerged victorious and can look forward to build-up a momentum from here on.
Once again, it was the young Adnan Januzaj, who took all the plaudits, justifiably. The 18-year-old was simply brilliant yesterday and football fans, experts, journalists heaved praised on him.
David Moyes has ushered high praised on the youngster and said he has the potential to be a top class player in future.
“Everybody can see what a player we have on our hands,” said Moyes. “He can play all the positions [up front].
“He played behind the striker for most of the game at Sunderland and we thought he was terrific there so we started him there today.
“We were hoping he might have created just a little more for us, maybe crafted a few more opportunities, but at half-time I swapped him to the left wing and it made a big difference.
Here we take a look at some of the tweets from fans, football writers and pundits about Januzaj’s performance.
Haven’t been as excited watching a United player as I have watching Januzaj, since Ronaldo days. Can’t believe he’s only 18

And where do you even begin with Januzaj? It’s scary to think that he’s only 18 years old. COULD become one of the best players in the world — Jonas Giæver (@CheGiaevara) January 11, 2014
And it goes without saying that Januzaj is absurd. Phenomenal performance — Doron Salomon (@DoronSalomon) January 11, 2014
Give Adnan Januzaj PFA young player of the year now. The boy is fearless, to have his vision at his age is rare. Very rare. #MUFC

In a Rooney & RVP-less team, Januzaj has emerged as #MUFC best player. Not so much an indictment of the new Utd but of Januzaj’s brilliance.

From day one, the thing that’s perhaps impressed me most about Januzaj is his knack for a perfectly weighted pass. Precise.

There’s only one word for Januzaj’s performance tonight – magic darts.
