Last Friday Manchester United unveiled their new kit for the 2006/2007 season.
Like all kits, this one is bound to grow on you after a while. The colors are fine as well – although the images show off the kit as being a slight orange, clips from Manchester United’s pre-season matches in South Africa show that the kit is still a nice red, albeit not as rich as last season.
But what if you could, for one day, change the kit and try to make it look less ugly?
Rob Hannett, from Firebrand (design consultants based in the UK) was kind enough to send me an edited copy of the original kit design. See if you can spot the differences, and then let me and Rob know in the comments section which kit design you like the most.
Disclaimer: This is not an official redesign, just some mucking about in Photoshop by Manchester United fans who are not too fond of the AIG logo and the big white backdrop for the United crest. Please don’t ask me where to order the redesigned kit from 🙂
Ok, got all that? Now for the Manchester United kit pics (old and new):

A alternate design for the Manchester United 2006/2008 kit by Rob Hannett – can you guess the changes (apart from the new AIG logo, there’s one more change)?
So what do you guys think? Which one is better?
