Tottenham will travel to Villa-Park to face Aston Villa in the third round of Capital One Cup tie tonight, where manager Andre Villas-Boas has been left with no other options rather to rotate the squad to full effect.
With barely 48 hours passed, since their last game with Cardiff City, Villas-Boas reflected that it is impossible to play another match and moaned about fixture congestion.
Brad Friedel could start on goal in place of Hugo Lloris. In the defence, Vlad Chiriches could start for his new club for the first time since he joined in the summer alongside Kaboul. Danny Rose would fit into the left-back role while Walker could start on the right hand side.
In the midfield, Brazilian Sandro could come in for Paulinho while Dembele is expected to retain his place. Villas-Boas could use Chadli, Lamela and Holtby for this tie as attacking trio while Roberto Soldado could lead the forward line-up, should Jermain Defoe misses out with groin injury.
This could be the probable line-up for Spurs
