Liverpool will face Aston Villa on Saturday at the Anfield, where manager Brendan Rodgers will be hoping for nothing less than full three points.
The Reds cemented their fourth position last week, after earning an emphatic victory against Stoke City at the Britannia. Manager Brendan Rodgers feels if the Reds can maintain this momentum, a possible title challenge cannot be ruled out either.
Striker Daniel Sturridge returned last week with a fine cameo performance and Rodgers insisted the Englishman could start against the Villans.
Defence: French defender Mamadou Sakho could be fit to play this game, which means Kolo Toure will drop to the bench. Glen Johnson and Aly Cissokho will take up the right and left back roles respectively.
Midfield: This is where Rodgers’ main concern lies. He cannot drop Jordan Henderson. No way can he do that; however, he cannot also drop Raheem Sterling, especially how brilliant he has been in the last few games. Therefore, Henderson will come in at the central midfield, allowing skipper Gerrard to play deeper.
Forward: Coutinho and Sterling should start on either flanks while Sturridge and Suarez will start upfront as the front two strikers.
Prediction: 3-1; Liverpool have won their last 7 home matches in the Premier League and expect them to win comfortably against Villa as well.
