Manchester United take on Aston Villa at Old Trafford early this afternoon, with the pre-match talk dominated by the planned ‘fly-over protest’ of David Moyes’ tenure at the club.
A group of disgruntled fans have reportedly raised almost £1000 to have a banner, calling for the removal of Moyes as manager, flown across the stadium during the match today.
The Scot has come under increasing pressure of late for what has been a lacklustre first season in the United hot-seat, and he will today have to endure a very public show of displeasure from the fans he is desperately trying to win over.
