The leaked image from April was spot on as adidas and Ajax launch their 2011/2012 home kit.
The adidas manufactured shirt is white and red with a red collar and red trims on the sleeves. Not a big difference from any of previous shirts, making Ajax’s home shirts one of the most iconic shirts in European football.
The designers have reverted to a folded collar shirts after having a round neck collar for one season.
The club crest on the left side of the chest, the manufacturer logo on the right and the sponsor logo goes in the center of the shirt.
The words “Wij Zijn Ajax” (translated: We Are Ajax) are engraved on the sleeves and four historic logos are added on the back of the shirt right under the collar.
