Inter Milan had a disappointing 2011/2012 season under the coach Andrea Stramaccioni, finishing sixth, a staggering 26 points behind the Serie A winners Juventus. They only qualified for Europa League’s third qualifying round by just two points, Roma and Parma were also eyeing that spot.
Much has changed at Inter after the 2012 summer transfer window with a few familiar faces gone but some new signings are set to replace them. For example, the future of the Brazilian goalie Julio Cesar is uncertain at the San Siro as the 32 year old called it a day after the signing of Samir Handanovic from Udinese – Handanovic was also given the number 1 jersey.
