Recent reports also add that the player could be announced as the latest Jose Mourinho signing before the end of the day.
Ibrahimovic has arrived at Manchester United’s training facility in Carrington and will put pen to paper on a one-year contract worth £200,000-a-week once the medical is completed.
The former PSG star revealed that he will sign for Manchester United on his social media accounts yesterday. The 34 year old scored 50 goals with PSG last season and will look to win the Premier League with Manchester United next season.
He will join Jose Mourinho’s team as a free agent following the expiration of his contract with Paris Saint-Germain. He has worked with Mourinho before and the duo share a great working relationship.
Dortmund midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan is now expected to follow Ibrahimovic and the £30m defender Eric Bailly to Old Trafford.
Manchester United are close to securing his services for a fee of around £26m as Mourinho seeks to improve his squad.
