World Cup Contest – Win a pair of Nike Superfly II

Update: The contest is now over, the winner will be announced on the Friday 9 July podcast.

The World Cup, like Christmas, is a time for giving. With that in mind, it’s our pleasure at Soccelens to introduce a brand new contest, with the sweetest football prize possible, a free pair of Nike Superfly II‘s. Not only is the Nike Superfly II boot the most advanced football boot ever made, but it is also by far the most popular boot at the World Cup. If the players love it, we’re sure that you’d love to wear a pair as well. The Superly II is brought to you by Soccerlens and SoccerPro, and it couldn’t really be easier to win than we’ve made it.

Read below for instructions on how to win the free pair of Nike Superfly II’s.

All you have to do in order to have a chance to win the pair of Superfly II boots is to listen to the Soccerlens World Cup Podcast, and pay attention to the announcements at the end of the podcast. There will be five world cup related questions at the end of the World Cup Podcasts, spread out randomly during the World Cup. The questions are not very hard to answer, but they all require some solid knowledge of footballing history, or very good research skills.

You can follow the instructions at the end of the podcasts, and e-mail all of your answers to [email protected]. The first question can be found at the end of the second episode.

Tip: The best way to keep up with all of the questions is to listen to all of the podcasts. You should also only e-mail your answers once all five questions were asked, to make it easier for Clarke and Spragg to keep up with all of your submissions.

It’s that easy to win, and from all of those that answer the questions, one will be chosen randomly from a hat, and the prize will be shipped to their doorstep!

Some more info on the Nike Superfly II‘s, for those that need convincing.:

The designers of the Mercurial Vapor Superfly II developed the idea for a boot focused on traction after measuring the amount of slips in the 2006 world championship finals. They found that there were 845 slipping events over 63 games. With this insight and collaborating with athletes including cristiano ronaldo, zlatan ibrahimovic and alexandre pato, the nike designers developed the nike sense adaptive stud design.

The boot also features nike flywire technology on the upper to provide full support with less weight and a carbon composite chassis.
