Liverpool kit supplier expands into La Liga

Warrior Sports have expanded their global appeal with the announcement that the brand will become the official kit supplier of Sevilla – replacing Umbro.

Warrior Sports already has entrenched roots in many football communities and is the current kit supplier for Liverpool. The move will help the brand spread throughout Spain’s top division as the supplier continues to expand at a rapid rate.

Ben Haworth, the global sports marketing manager for Warrior Footall, said:

“Sevilla FC is a club that is not only rich in heritage but has also enjoyed great success on the pitch during its 107 year history.

With a presence in La Liga, we have the ability to connect with a new legion of football fans, enabling us to continue fulfilling our pledge to take the Warrior brand further and deeper into the global football market.”

Warrior have signed a deal with Sevilla that will see them design and provide home and away kits as well as training and lifestyle wear for five seasons from July 2013 onwards.

Warrior Sports also has ties with Malaysia as the supplier for top division side Kelantan. The brand will also supply kits for Danish side Randers from the 2013 season onwards.

The brand also produces the Skreamer range of football boots with star Everton player Marouane Fellaini the leading figure of various promotions. The profile of Warrior Sports in the Premier League will continue to increase with the launch of the Skreamer Pro football boot in December.

Fellaini, along with a number of players at Liverpool and Sevilla, are expected to start wearing the boots which will help Warrior Sports develop as a brand alongside the mainstream kit and football equipment suppliers.

Sevilla’s deputy manager, Manuel Vizcaino, said:

“It is an honor to have been selected as a platform to launch the Warrior brand into the Spanish market.”

Warrior Sports is also the official kit supplier of five United States Lacrosse teams and one Canadian side.
