We had earlier reported that the Red Devils are willing to offer €30m for the Chilean, who has been one of the driving forces behind Antonio Conte’s title winning side at Italy. Conte, who signed a contract extension to stay with the Old Lady for year another season claimed that Vidal will stay at Turin in the summer.

Conte claimed that he is desperate to mount a Champions League challenge next season after winning the Serie A three years in a row.

“I think I have laid the foundation for next year . Every month we try to improve and choose according to players that we have. Now, for example, what we have  and what we’ll get in the future and we will have to adapt our game based on this. “

“Vidal will stay again next year. The attention to detail is the key to success, hunger. We will not sit on our laurels, rather fight for more silverware next season, this is the underlining mentality at Juventus.”

Barcastuff Twitter handle though added speculations reporting on Gazzetta Dello Sport’t claims that the Camp Nou outfit  could ask for Vidal in a part of the deal that would see Alexis Sanchez join the Old Lady in the summer.

Vidal suffered a knee injury at the business end of the season  but the Chilean is expected to play a pivotal role for his country in the World Cup in Brazil. Italian daily Gazzetta claimed that Vidal’s injury was managed with close collaboration with Chilean doctors.

Conte, 44, also spoke on Barcelona’s interest on former Manchester United player Paul Pogba, the Blaugrana who might be preparing to sell Cesc Fabregas. The young Frenchman is also on the transfer wishlist of Real Madrid.

“Pogba? He has made great strides in a short time, an example that young people are still out strong. If a young person has potential I will play him.”
