Tuesday Night Carabao Cup Tip 1: Newcastle United vs Bournemouth: Newcastle to Win & BTTS @ 21/10 with BetUK

We start our accumulator with an all Premier League clash between Newcastle and Bournemouth, at St James’ Park, as Eddie Howe welcomes his former club to Tyneside.

The Magpies are flying in the Premier League and remarkably sit in third place, having only lost once this season in the league. Meanwhile the Cherries aren’t having a bad first season back in the top flight and they’re currently positioned in 14th.

Eddie Howe’s men got through the last round narrowly as they beat Crystal Palace 3-2 on penalties.

As for Bournemouth, they produced one of the results of the round when they beat Everton 4-1 at home to send the Toffees out of the competition.

The visitors could certainly be a dark horse to make it far in the cup, and we expect them to give Newcastle a good test, so can see them scoring. However, we think the hosts have the firing power to get past their opponents and that’s why we tip Newcastle to win and both teams to score.

Tuesday Night Carabao Cup Tip 2: MK Dons vs Leicester City: Leicester City Half Time Win/Full Time Win @ 22/25 with BetUK

Our second tip of the accumulator is Leicester City to beat MK Dons and we’re using the Half Time/Full Time selection. This means we’d need Leicester to win both the first and the second half.

It’s set to be a hard test for MK who welcome the Premier League side to Stadium MK. The Dons have impressed so far in this years edition of the Carabao Cup, and are yet to concede a goal. They’ve beat Sutton United, Watford and Morecambe along the way, but face their toughest challenge yet when they host the three-time winners of the trophy tonight.

The Foxes were in strong form heading into the World Cup, and will look to continue that good form when they return to competitive action for the first time since before the break tonight.

Meanwhile MK Dons are sitting in the relegation zone of League One, so could do with focusing on their league form rather than going for it against a top side in the cup.

Leicester will score goals and that’s why we pick them to win both the first and the second half.

Tuesday Night Carabao Cup Tip 3: Southampton vs Lincoln City: Southampton to Win @ 6/25 with BetUK

Our third tip for the accumulator is Southampton to win against Lincoln City, where the Saints are clear favourites to progress to the next round.

They’ve recently acquired a new manager in Nathan Jones, and his only match so far was a 3-1 loss to Liverpool so tonight could be the perfect time for the Welshman to show his new club what he’s all about, especially with Saints playing on home turf.

The Imps have had a good run in the cup so far this season, beating Barrow, Wycombe and Bristol City, so will look to sneak a shock and beat Southampton.

Saints haven’t had the best season so far and their Premier League form isn’t good at all with the club sitting in the relegation zone. However a cup run can be pivotal in revitalising a side.

They only just got past Sheffield Wednesday in the last round winning 6-5 on penalties, but we don’t see them losing to this Lincoln side who only have one win in their last five games in the league.

Tuesday Night Carabao Cup Tip 4: Wolves vs Gillingham: Wolves Half Time Win/Full Time Win @ 4/9 with BetUK

Our fourth and final selection for our accumulator is Wolves to win both the first half and the second half against Gillingham.

Wolves host a Gills side who have already beaten a Premier League side away from home in this years EFL Cup. Neil Harris’ side beat Brentford 6-5 on penalties in the last round, showing they’ve got the quality to do it again. However, Wolves will look to keep up their good form in this competition when they welcome the League Two outfit to Molineux.

The Kent-based side are sitting bottom of League Two, and only have two wins in 20 games in the league, so they’ll need something special to beat the Premier League side.

We do back Wolves to win both halves, despite their poor form in the league, they’ve had a couple of good results in recent friendlies in their winter break, so could use that as some motivation. They’ll also want to put on a good show for their new manager Julen Lopetegui, who’ll be in the dugout for his first competitive game as boss.

If you want to use your BetUK sign up bonus, a stake of £30 will get you a whopping £318.21 back ahead of Christmas and the New Year.
