Serie A side Atalanta are reportedly looking for £52m in order to sell their Danish starlet Rasmus Hojlund amid transfer interest from Manchester United.

According to reports, Serie A side Atalanta are willing to part ways with Danish forward Rasmus Hojlund in the summer – but for no less than £52million.

This comes from Football Insider, who claim the Dane is high on the wanted list for Manchester United ahead of the summer window.

The 20-year-old is seen as an alternative to Harry Kane and Victor Osimhen.

Hojlund is seen as one of the more promising strikers in world football, having enjoyed a good first season in Italy, and also making his mark on the international stage.

In March, Hojlund bagged a hat-trick for Denmark against Finland in European Championship qualifying, before netting a brace three days later versus Kazakhstan.

He now has five senior international goals to his name in just four appearances for the Red and Whites.

Football Insider’s report also claims that Tottenham captain Kane remains United’s top priority – whilst Anthony Martial is expected to depart.

However, it is said that Red Devils chiefs are not optimistic about finalising a deal for the forward, as he is now favoured to remain at Spurs.

United bosses fear that negotiations for Kane could drag on throughout the entire window, whilst their priority is to get business done early.

This could see Hojlund become a preferred option to the England captain, as they’d likely be able to get a deal done quickly if they met Atalanta’s valuation for the frontman.
